8base, a Miami, FL-based low-code improvement platform for constructing digital merchandise, inner purposes and extra, closed a $10.6m Sequence A funding spherical.
The spherical was led by Foundry Group, with participation by Techstars, Firebrand Ventures, MongoDB PaaS Accelerator, 11 Tribes Ventures, Argonautic Ventures, LAGO Innovation Fund and Strawberry Creek Ventures, an Alumni Ventures fund. At the side of the funding, Chris Moody, Associate at Foundry Group, joined 8base’s board of administrators.
The corporate will use the funds to proceed the fast growth of its product capabilities whereas ramping up its go-to-market staff.
Led by Albert Santalo, founder and CEO, 8base offers a low code dev develop platform to create purposes by regularly eradicating redundant and low-value-add work from the dev life-cycle. The system contains instruments for constructing knowledge fashions, customized logic, APIs, connections to exterior methods, cloud-based internet hosting, safety, authentication, and frontend purposes.
