Ten people were hurt in a shooting in New York City, according to the NYPD

Aiexpress – There was a mass shooting in Queens, New York City, late on New Year’s Day that hurt ten people, the New York Police Department said in a news meeting early Thursday.

Six women and four men were hurt in the incident outside of a private events club late Wednesday night. All of them were expected to recover, according to cops.

Police in New York City say that three to four men opened fire on a crowd outside the club. People on social media were shocked by what happened and posted pictures of the cops at the scene.

The attack happened just hours after two other violent incidents in the U.S. on New Year’s Day. Fifteen people were killed when a truck crashed into a street full of people celebrating the New Year in New Orleans. Seventeen people were hurt when a Tesla truck exploded outside of a Trump hotel in Las Vegas.

The U.S. government was working hard to find suspects in the events in New Orleans and Las Vegas. They were also looking into possible terrorist connections.

The police said there was no chance of a terrorist attack.
