Aiexpress – Two men are dead after what police say was a double murder outside of a south Kansas City Little Caesars pizza shop. This is the fourth murder and third shooting death at the restaurant since October 25.
A spokesperson for the Kansas City cops Department, Sgt. Phil DiMartino, said that cops arrived at the plaza in the 8700 block of Blue Ridge Boulevard around 7:30 p.m. Thursday.
DiMartino said that when police arrived at the Little Caesars parking lot, they saw two adult guys who had been shot. Both were declared dead at the scene of the crime. The dead have not been named by the public yet.
An argument or fight between several people in the parking lot is what police think led to the accused double murder, DiMartino said. Thursday, no suspects were named in public.
In the last ten weeks, four people have been shot and killed in the plaza at 8700 Blue Ridge Boulevard. This is where Little Caesars is located, as well as a car and payday loan office.
Reginald Lamar, 48, was shot and killed inside a Little Caesar’s on October 25. He had been arguing with the person who is suspected of shooting him, who was thought to be a close friend.
With several gunshot wounds, a second guy was found in a car in the Little Caesars parking lot on December 5. The man was pronounced dead at the scene, but his name has not been made public yet.
The killing on Thursday was the second or third murder in Kansas City in 2025, according to information gathered by The Star. Last year at this time, there had been no murders in the city.
