On Wednesday, April 17, at around 10:25 p.m., officers from the St. Petersburg Police Department responded to a complaint of a shooting at a home on 29th Ave. North. Devin Hansen, 28, and his wife, Yasmin Grijalva, 35, were visiting from out of state when they got into a fight, during which Hansen allegedly shot Grijalva.

According to WTVT-TV, Hansen and his wife were visiting his parents’ house when the incident occurred. According to WTVT, Grijalva traveled to Florida for a work-related function, and her husband accompanied her.

Emergency workers arrived at the house, but Hansen had already departed in a black Cadillac CTS.

An officer accompanied Grijalva on the ambulance ride to Orlando Health Bayfront. While traveling, the officer saw a black Cadillac pursuing the ambulance on the freeway.
