Leicester Metropolis Council is working with world mobility-as-a-service (MaaS) expertise firm SkedGo to assist strengthen sustainable and lively journey within the area.
Lively journey is a key objective of Leicester Metropolis Council’s Transport Restoration Plan which goals to cut back automobile utilization within the area.
Journey planner
The council will launch two Android and iPhone apps as a part of its Select How You Transfer initiative, providing an easy-to-use journey planner that comes with public transport, e-bikes from Santander Cycles, Park and Journey areas, taxis, biking and strolling routes.
Select How You Transfer is a partnership challenge between Leicester Metropolis Council and Leicestershire County Council, funded by the Division for Transport.
