
Osigu, a Miami, Florida-based real-time claims processing and e-prescription platform in Latin America, secured $7.5m in funding.
The spherical was led by IDC Ventures with participation from strategic traders Jose Vargas, co-founder of Healthcare.com, a number one digital medical insurance firm. In reference to the funding, Jose Vargas and Gabriel Mesa (MD, and former CEO of one of many main medical insurance firms in Colombia for greater than 14 years) joined the Osigu board of administrators.
The financing will assist strengthen Osigu’s ML algorithms, AI options, and enlargement into the Colombian Market.
Led by Fernando Botrán, CEO and co-founder, Osigu has developed a know-how platform that exchanges information and interacts with payers and healthcare suppliers, making it doable to automate digital claims and funds. With a single integration, its API infrastructure enhances communication between payers and suppliers to expedite claims and acquire real-time responses with out human interplay.
Osigu has purchasers in Mexico, Dominican Republic, Guatemala, and Spain.
