1 Person Dead And Multiple Injured After Stolen 18-wheeler Crashes Into Texas DPS Office

One person has been confirmed dead in the incident that occurred at the Brenham DPS office. The department had earlier stated that there were reports of multiple serious injuries at the office. Brenham, located northwest of Houston, was the site of this unfortunate incident.

During the press conference, officials revealed that several individuals had sustained injuries. Out of those injured, three individuals were airlifted to the hospital due to their critical condition.

Two individuals were transported to the hospital via ambulance, both in stable condition. The remaining individuals received on-site medical attention for minor injuries.

The police apprehended Clenard Parker, a 42-year-old individual believed to be the driver of the allegedly stolen vehicle. They took him into custody at the scene of the incident.

Law enforcement officials have revealed that Parker deliberately drove his vehicle into the DPS office. This drastic action was taken after the office denied him a commercial drivers license on Thursday.

Authorities said that Clenard has been charged with criminal trespassing twice before and has also faced an arson charge.

The Texas Rangers are currently leading the investigation, and it has been confirmed that there is no ongoing threat to the public.

The DPS has requested that the public refrain from entering the area while investigators and medical personnel carry out their response efforts.
