A 16-year-old boy is fighting for his life after being shot in broad daylight on Tuesday in Queens, according to police.

Authorities said that the shooting occurred just hours after a tragic incident in which an 11-year-old boy was shot at NYCHA’s Brownsville Houses in Brooklyn.

Around 1:30 p.m., on Dickens Street near Mott Avenue in the Rockaways, a teenager in his late teens was hit in the groin and left wrist, according to the police.

At least three individuals were shot at an event in Philadelphia that was held to mark the end of Ramadan, according to authorities. The incident occurred when rival gangs engaged in a shootout.

The young boy was rushed to Cohen Children’s Medical Center for treatment. Initially, he was deemed to be in stable condition. However, his condition took a turn for the worse and was later classified as critical as of 3:10 p.m., according to authorities.
