22-year-old off-duty city employee charged with attempted murder: NYPD

An off-duty city employee has been arrested and charged with attempted murder, according to the police.

Diamond Matthews, a 22-year-old individual, worked as an employee at the New York City Office of Technology and Innovation.

The incident is currently under investigation by the NYPD.

The bail amount was determined to be $15,000 in cash, with an additional $10,000 required as bond.

According to court records, Matthews entered a plea of not guilty to the charges, which consist of attempted murder in the second degree and attempted assault in the first degree.
