Aiexpress – According to Nassau County Police, a 24-year-old man was arrested on Saturday after reportedly stabbing his parents while they slept in their New Hyde Park home.
According to authorities, Joshua Wilck entered his parents’ bedroom about 11 p.m. and stabbed them with a knife while they were sleeping. Both victims fled the house, but Wilck pursued them outside and continued to attack, according to authorities.
Police said Wilck put his arms around one of his parents’ necks while outside. Officers arrived and arrested Mr. Wilck.
Both victims were brought to the hospital for treatment of their injuries. The police stated they were in critical condition.
Wilck was charged with two charges of attempted murder in the second degree, two counts of assault in the first degree, criminal obstruction of breathing, aggravated criminal contempt, criminal possession of a weapon in the fourth degree, and resisting arrest, according to PIX11.
