Good Samaritan Dead After Fatal Accident On I-10 North Of Casa Grande

Aiexpress – Tragedy struck on Sunday morning when a compassionate individual lost their life in a devastating accident on Interstate 10 in Pinal County.

The crash occurred at approximately 6:30 a.m. on I-10 near mile marker 185, north of Casa Grande, according to officials from the Arizona Department of Public Safety.

Authorities say that the accident started when the driver of the ambulance may have fallen asleep. The ambulance lost control and went back and forth across the road. It then rolled over and landed on its wheels on the right shoulder.

A female passenger and the driver, who both worked for American Medical Response, were in the ambulance when it crashed. Officials say that no patients were being moved.

Officials say that two kind people, a man and a woman in separate cars, stopped to help the people in the ambulance. A car hit the ambulance and both of the Good Samaritans while they were trying to help.

The guy’s friend who came to help died at the scene. The good Samaritan woman was taken to the hospital, but it’s not clear what injuries she had. The woman should be able to live, according to officials.

The man who was in the ambulance suffered only minor injuries, while his female passenger was transported to the hospital in critical condition.

The male driver who was involved in the accident with the ambulance sustained minor injuries. Authorities are currently investigating whether or not the man was impaired at the time of the collision.

The individuals involved in this incident have not yet been identified.

The crash resulted in the closure of I-10 at Casa Blanca Road for a duration of seven hours. However, all lanes have now been reopened.

The crash is currently under investigation by DPS to determine the factors that contributed to it.
