Biden Campaign Criticizes Trump’s Last Place Ranking In ‘presidential Greatness’

Aiexpress – President Joe Biden’s campaign criticized former President Donald Trump on Monday for being ranked last in a survey about “Presidential Greatness.” However, Trump countered by stating that the survey was biased.

The recently released 2024 Presidential Greatness Project expert survey ranks presidents from George Washington to Joe Biden. Conducted between November 15 and December 31, 2023, the survey was carried out by a panel of experts specializing in the American presidency.

Respondents were given the task of rating every U.S. president based on their “overall greatness” using a scale of zero to 100. Zero represented failure, 50 represented average, and 100 represented greatness. The ratings for each president were then averaged and ranked from the highest average to the lowest.

Abraham Lincoln emerged as the frontrunner with an impressive 95.03 average, showcasing his exceptional leadership skills. On the other hand, Trump landed at the bottom of the list with a meager 10.92 average, highlighting the challenges he faced during his presidency. Meanwhile, Biden secured a respectable position at No. 14, earning a rating of 62.7, which places him in the top third of the list.

In a statement issued on Monday by Biden’s reelection campaign titled “Happy Presidents’ Day! … Unless You’re Donald Trump,” campaign spokesperson Kevin Munoz expressed, “Being recognized as the worst in your field throughout your country’s history is no easy feat. However, Donald Trump has managed to achieve this distinction, and the reasons behind it are quite evident.”

Munoz portrayed Trump, the leading contender for the 2024 GOP presidential nomination, as a self-centered candidate, contrasting with Biden, the benevolent Democratic incumbent.

According to Munoz, Donald Trump’s focus during his four years in office was solely on his own self-interest. In contrast, President Biden is dedicated to serving the American people. Munoz emphasizes that Biden actively works towards job creation, surpassing the achievements of any previous president within a three-year timeframe. Additionally, Biden is committed to making substantial investments in America, reaching record levels of funding.

“The campaign spokesperson emphasized the clear choice that voters face in this election. They stated, ‘It is a choice between a president who has consistently delivered for the American people and Donald Trump, who experts agree may be the worst to ever hold this position.’ ”

According to Trump’s campaign, the co-directors of the Presidential Greatness Project, University of Houston political science professor Brandon Rottinghaus and Coastal Carolina University political science professor Justin Vaughn, are donors to the Democratic party.

In April 2022, Rottinghaus made a $10 contribution to the Democratic Political Action Committee (PAC) ActBlue, as stated in the records of the Federal Election Commission. On the other hand, Vaughn supported the Idaho Bankers Political Action Committee by donating $450 in July 2021.

On Presidents Day, Trump actively criticized the U.S. justice system due to his on-going legal battles. These include four criminal indictments, to which he has maintained his plea of not guilty.

Recently, two New York judges have ordered him to pay a total of $438.3 million. The first judgment is for a defamation lawsuit brought against him by writer E. Jean Carroll, amounting to $83.3 million. The second judgment, totaling $355 million, is for a business fraud lawsuit filed by New York Attorney General Letitia James. Trump has consistently asserted his innocence in both criminal and civil cases.

On Monday, Trump expressed his frustration with the ongoing political prosecutions against him on his social media platform Truth Social. He emphasized the urgency of putting a stop to these actions, particularly in the midst of what he believes to be the most significant election in the history of the United States. Trump criticized the radical left prosecutors and judges, referring to them as “lunatic,” and called for an immediate end to their actions.

He expressed his concerns, stating, “This interference in the election must be halted without delay. It is unacceptable for me to face fabricated prosecutions prior to the election. Such actions are reminiscent of communism and pose a significant threat to our democratic values. Our nation will not tolerate this. Let’s work together to make America great again!”
