Forecasters Predicting Rain and Warmer Temperatures as Weather Pattern Shifts in the Region

Aiexpress – According to the National Weather Service, Wednesday, Feb. 21 is expected to be mostly sunny with a high temperature reaching approximately 45 degrees. This will contribute to the gradual melting of the snow that fell last week.

Temperatures dropping just below 30 degrees at night could cause the snow to re-freeze. However, there is a warm-up expected on Thursday, which means that the precipitation expected in the region is unlikely to be more snow.

According to the National Weather Service (NWS), the weather forecast for today shows cloudy skies and temperatures just below 50 degrees. Rain is expected to begin after 1 p.m. Additionally, there is a slight chance of snow in certain areas of Pennsylvania.

According to the NWS, there is an 80 percent chance of rain overnight and continuing until around 1 p.m. on Friday.

According to AccuWeather, as the temperatures drop to near or below freezing on Friday night, there is a possibility of snow or a combination of rain and snow in the southern regions of New York, northern Pennsylvania, and lower New England.
