Nikki Haley: Trump Sides With Dictators Who Seek To ‘destroy America’

Aiexpress  – Nikki Haley, a Republican presidential candidate, criticized Donald Trump on Thursday for his refusal to condemn Russian President Vladimir Putin in connection with the death of prominent Kremlin opponent Alexei Navalny.

During a rally before the South Carolina GOP primary on Saturday, Haley expressed her concern that Donald Trump is aligning himself with a dictator known for assassinating his political adversaries.

According to the statement, the speaker expressed her strong disapproval of Donald Trump’s decision to support a leader who suppresses freedom of the press and unlawfully detains American journalists. She further emphasized that Trump’s alignment with this individual, who openly expresses his desire to dismantle the United States, is concerning and alarming.

Trump has not condemned Russia or Putin for Navalny’s death in an Arctic prison last week. Instead, he has compared his own legal troubles, which include 91 criminal charges across multiple cases, to the dissident’s death.

During a Fox News town hall on Tuesday, Trump referred to it as a form of Navalny. He went on to describe it as a type of communism or fascism.

During a campaign event in South Carolina, Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) expressed her lack of concern towards the death of Navalny by stating, “I really could care less.”

After Navalny’s demise, authorities in Russia have been arresting numerous individuals who have attempted to pay their respects to him by leaving flowers and candles. A distressing development is that the Russian government has refused to release Navalny’s body unless his family consents to a clandestine funeral.

During a fundraiser in San Francisco, President Joe Biden expressed his astonishment at Trump’s remarks.

“He’s comparing himself to Navalny and claiming that he was persecuted just like Navalny due to our country becoming a communist nation. Where on earth does this come from?” expressed Biden, as per a White House pool report. “If I had said all of this 10 to 15 years ago, standing here, you all would have thought I needed to be committed.”

On Thursday, Biden had a meeting with Yulia, the wife of Navalny, as well as their daughter, Dasha. The administration of Biden is set to announce significant sanctions against Russia on Friday, which interestingly aligns with the two-year commemoration of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.

At her rally in South Carolina on Thursday, Haley, the former governor of the state, reiterated her belief that Republicans would fare better in the November election without Trump leading the ticket. She highlighted the fact that Republicans have experienced losses in consecutive elections, both during and after Trump’s presidency, and that they have not been achieving significant success in recent times either.

According to her, Donald Trump no longer has his immunity and will now face trial as a regular citizen. She mentioned a recent court ruling that denied his claim of immunity from prosecution. In addition, she highlighted the various losses that Republicans have faced recently, including the failed vote on impeaching Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas and the vote on Israel aid funding. She also pointed out that the RNC chair lost her job, suggesting that Trump played a role in all of these situations.

She exclaimed, “When will this end? How much more do we have to lose?”
