Haley Predicts Trump Will Not Win General Election: ‘mark My Words’

Aiexpress – GOP presidential candidate Nikki Haley said Thursday that former President Trump would lose the general election if he were the GOP nominee.

In an interview with anchor Jake Tapper on CNN’s “The Lead,” Haley confidently stated her belief that Donald Trump would not emerge victorious in the general election. She expressed her conviction that while Trump may succeed in winning primary elections, he would ultimately fail in securing the presidency. Haley went on to assert that the United States would see a female president, with the possibility of it being either herself or Vice President Harris.

According to Haley, “If Donald Trump becomes the nominee, I can guarantee you that he will not succeed in a general election.”

Just a few days before the GOP primary in the Palmetto State, the former United Nations ambassador didn’t seem too concerned about the polling deficit.

During an interview on “The Hill on NewsNation,” Blake Burman asked Haley to clarify the situation for viewers who might be puzzled by the fact that she is currently trailing by 20-30 points in her home state. Burman questioned, “Can you explain to the casual viewer who sees the polls, why you’re down in your home state? What would you tell them?”

The former United Nations ambassador dismissed the polling disadvantage earlier this week, just days before the Palmetto State GOP primary on Saturday.

“Can you explain to the casual viewer who sees the polls — you down potentially 20-30 points in your home state — and they might wonder, ‘Why’s she down in her home state?’ What would you tell them?” Blake Burman asked Haley in an interview on “The Hill on NewsNation.”

Haley confidently asserts that despite initial doubts, she not only made it to Iowa but also surpassed expectations by achieving a remarkable 20 percent of the vote, falling just 1 percent short of second place.

“When it was election day in New Hampshire, they claimed that I was trailing behind by 30 points. However, we managed to secure an impressive 43 percent of the vote. As I’ve always believed, the only poll that truly counts is the one that takes place in South Carolina,” she emphasized.
