NYC Police Searching For Trio Of Suspects In Deadly Morning Subway Shooting

Aiexpress – Police in New York City are still searching for the guy who shot and killed a man on the subway on Friday morning.

According to an updated post on X from a New York Police Department deputy commissioner at 1:52 p.m. EST, the victim was fatally shot once.

The initial reports from authorities suggested that the victim, a 45-year-old man, had been either shot or stabbed during a dispute on a Metropolitan Transportation Authority train. The incident took place in the Bronx area of the city, as the train was heading towards the 182-183rd Street station near Fordham, around 5 a.m. local time.

Later, it was discovered that the victim had been shot.

There have been no arrests, but police have released surveillance photographs of three individuals, all of whom are dressed in black and needed for interrogation.

The victim, who had a puncture wound to his chest, has not yet been recognized. Emergency personnel transported him to St. Barnabas Hospital, where he died.

NYPD Deputy Commissioner Kaz Daughtry expressed strong condemnation for the reprehensible acts of violence that occurred in NYC. In a statement shared on social media, he made it clear that such behavior will not be tolerated. Daughtry assured the public that the perpetrators will be apprehended and held accountable for their actions, ensuring justice for the victim and their family.
