Aiexpress – Martez Brooks, 34, of Baltimore, was arrested on a warrant and charged with first-degree murder on Thursday, February 1.
Detectives suspect that Brooks played a role in the shooting incident that took place on July 4, 2022, where Leroy Jeter III, aged 42, was injured.
The Warrant Apprehension Task Force arrested Brooks.
Jeter was discovered in the 400 block of North Montford Avenue with many life-threatening gunshot wounds and transported to Johns Hopkins Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
