Putin Ally Warning To ‘destroy’ Poland: ‘we Won’t Even Think Twice’

Aiexpress – Kremlin propagandist Vladimir Solovyov has warned that Russia is preparing to “destroy” Poland as tensions between Moscow and its European neighbors escalate amid the protracted conflict in Ukraine.

Solovyov, a close ally of Russian President Vladimir Putin and the host of a popular state television program, suggested during a recent broadcast that European nations would not “understand” Russia’s dominance over the continent until the decision was made to “smash Europe’s face,” according to a translated clip shared on Friday by Ukrainian internal affairs adviser Anton Gerashchenko to X, formerly Twitter.

After pledging that Russia would never “leave” or “negotiate” with Europe, Solovyov shifted his attention to Poland, a strategically positioned NATO member state that has lately strengthened its defenses in preparation for the potential that Russia’s war in Ukraine will escalate. Solovyov stated that while Russia is “sorry for” its “brothers” in Ukraine, Moscow would not hesitate to wipe out Polish cities “in an instant.”

“Would the Poles want to be next? “They are not Ukrainians,” Solovyov stated, according to Gerashchenko’s translation. “We shall not regard them like brothers. We will annihilate all of those cities in an instant, without utilizing ground troops. We feel sad for Ukraine, but we will fight there [in Poland] as the Americans did in Iraq.

“We will simply, I am not sure about nuclear strikes, but with missile strikes and air strikes, I am sure, we will just freaking destroy them,” he went on to say. “And we won’t even think twice.”

Polish Defense Minister Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz stated in an interview with Super Express earlier this month that Poland is prepared to defend itself against Russian military invasion in “all scenarios.”

“I think all scenarios are possible, and I take the worst ones very seriously,” Kosiniak-Kamysz stated, according to a translation from Ukrainska Pravda. “That’s what a defense minister does in our current situation. We need to be ready for anything.”

Tensions between Moscow and Warsaw may have risen earlier this month when NATO revealed plans to establish a joint training center with Ukraine in Bydgoszcz, Poland.

NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg stated that the new facility would provide “a framework” for Ukrainian military units “to train alongside NATO allied troops.”

Solovyov has developed a reputation for making exaggerated claims, especially since Russia invaded Ukraine on February 24, 2022. He has recommended on multiple occasions that Moscow unleash nuclear strikes on nations that support Ukraine, and he claims that NATO countries are preparing for a “big war” with Russia.
