Aiexpress – Alabama is home to a significant number of semi-trailers, with approximately 5.6 million of these vehicles currently in operation. As a result, it is not uncommon to encounter these trailers while driving on the roads in Alabama. My Auto Machine highlights the prevalence of semi-trailers on Alabama’s roadways.
On February 22, 2024, a trailer traveling on the roadways was stopped by Border Patrol agents, as mentioned in a post by Chief Anthony Good on X.
Chief Good reported that during a trip to Las Cruces, New Mexico, Border Patrol agents intercepted a trailer when the driver tried to smuggle 13 migrants into the United States.
He further stated in the article that the driver, a Mexican national, will be punished in the United States and have his Border Crossing Card Visa revoked for his role in the unlawful smuggling operation.
According to a report by Fox 14 News, Chief Good has informed the public that this is the fourth trailer interception since the start of the 2024 fiscal year (October).
