Officials: Baby Mauled To Death By Family Dog In New Jersey

According to the Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office, a household dog mauled and killed an infant in New Jersey early Saturday morning.

The event occurred at approximately 6:17 a.m. in a home on Mereline Avenue, according to the prosecutor’s office. Responding cops discovered an infant who was unresponsive and severely injured.

According to authorities, the dog also seriously injured the mother, and the child was already dead. According to officials, the mother and father were brought to the hospital for treatment.
