Michael Cohen Gives Advice To Peter Navarro On Surviving Prison

Michael Cohen, the former Trump attorney, has firsthand experience of life behind bars and the consequences of committing crimes related to MAGA. After being convicted of criminal tax evasion and campaign finance violations, Cohen spent over a year in prison and additional time under house arrest. He understands the impact of paying the price for such offenses.

During a recent interview with CNN, Cohen shared some valuable advice with Peter Navarro, a former Trump White House aide who has just started serving a four-month sentence for evading a subpoena from the Jan. 6 select committee. Cohen cautioned Navarro about the subpar quality of food in prison and the unfamiliarity of the rules that need to be followed there.

Cohen offers his perspective on Navarro’s remark to reporters, stating that it is easy to portray oneself as fearless when one is on the outside. However, Cohen emphasizes that the rules within prison, whether it is a satellite camp, a low-security facility like the one he was in, or a maximum-security prison, remain the same. Navarro, according to Cohen, has never had to adhere to these rules and therefore cannot fully comprehend the challenges and adjustments that await him.

During a press conference held in an unconventional location described as “a parking lot across from a Papa John’s and a pawn shop,” Navarro remained steadfast in his loyalty to Trump as he delivered his final remarks prior to serving his jail sentence. He emphasized that he had received significant support from Donald Trump and his team. Cohen couldn’t help but comment on the irony of the situation, stating, “And look where you’re going!”
