Joe Biden mocks Trump’s bragging about golf trophies as a notable achievement

President Biden mocked former President Donald Trump for bragging about winning two golf trophies at his own golf club’s awards ceremony on Sunday.

“Congratulations to Donald.” “Quite an accomplishment,” Biden remarked on X, the network that was previously known as Twitter.

Biden included a screenshot of Trump’s tweet from earlier that night on Truth Social.

“It is my great joy to be at Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach today, AWARDS NIGHT, to accept THE CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP TROPHY and THE SENIOR CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP TROPHY. I won both!” In a post on Truth Social, Trump expressed his excitement and joy.

“A huge and talented golf membership, along with a fantastic and demanding course, made the game highly thrilling. The qualifying and matchplay were incredible. Tonight’s event will feature a huge and distinguished group. Thank you; this is very exciting!” Trump continued.

The 45th and 46th presidents secured their parties’ nominations over two weeks ago and now set their minds on the main election in November. The campaigns have ramped up in recent weeks as they prepare for the anticipated rematch.

Head-to-head hypothetical match-ups between the parties’ projected leaders make the race extremely tight. According to The Hill/Decision Desk HQ’s national polling average, Trump leads Biden by just one percentage point in head-to-head polling.

Trump’s lead over Biden climbs to 1.9 percent in three-way hypothetical races that include independent candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr., who has an average of 9.8 percentage points in the hypothetical match-ups.

The Trump team responded to Biden with a statement insulting his political opponent’s physical qualities.

“Crooked Joe Biden is jealous because anything he does physically is an embarrassment—whether it is falling off his bike, whiffing on golf balls, or just generally falling on his ass in front of the world,” stated the president’s press secretary.
