A tragic accident occurred on Friday in Rock Hill, South Carolina, where a mother and her twin 3-year-old daughters were involved in a fatal crash, according to local authorities.

Tionese Crim Hughes, 30, and her daughters Mackenzie and Mariah Hughes were driving a 2019 Nissan sedan when a 2018 Chevrolet sedan crossed the center line and collided with them, according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol and the York County Coroner’s office, WCNC reported.

‘We will never forget these precious angels,’ Rock Hill daycare says

Right Choice Child Development Center, the Rock Hill daycare where Hughes’ daughters have been attending since they were 8 months old, is still grieving alongside the family.

In an email to USA TODAY, the daycare expressed that Mariah and MacKenzie have been valued members of the Right Choice Child Development Center family for the past three years. They joined the center when they were just eight months old, starting in the infant classroom and have now progressed to the three-year-old classroom.

The daycare described the fraternal twins as “full of personality and the most loving girls.”

According to the daycare, MacKenzie was known for her quiet nature, but she always made sure to compliment others. Whether it was their hair, jewelry, or clothing, she never hesitated to express her admiration. On the other hand, Mariah was the epitome of affection. She would always shower her friends and the daycare staff with hugs and love, making everyone feel special.

According to the daycare, Hughes was described as a “beautiful girl with a sweet spirit.”

“Hughes was incredibly dedicated to ensuring her children’s academic success,” the daycare proudly stated. “She never missed a beat, attending every quarterly parents’ night and actively participating in all the events held at RCCDC.”

“Our RCCDC family is deeply devastated by this tragedy. These precious angels will always hold a special place in our hearts and we will never forget them,” expressed the daycare.
