The family of the renowned civil rights and labor advocate, Cesar Chavez, publicly announced their endorsement of President Joe Biden in the upcoming 2024 U.S. presidential election.
The sons of the iconic Hispanic labor leader, Fernando and Paul Chavez, have expressed their endorsement of Biden. They revealed this during an interview with CBS News. It is worth noting that Biden already has Julie Chavez Rodriguez, the granddaughter of the late labor leader, working as his campaign manager.
Paul Chavez expressed his deep admiration and respect for a president who embodies the true legacy of his father, Cesar Chavez, through his character and actions.
In a notable gathering in 1967, Robert F. Kennedy Sr. referred to Chavez as “one of the heroic figures of our times.”
The Kennedy event invites individuals who are interested to come and “celebrate the life and legacy of Cesar Chavez, a close friend of RFK and RFK, Jr.”
