In a recent interview, former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo expressed his strong disapproval of President Biden’s border policies, describing them as “deeply dangerous.”
Pompeo criticized the Biden administration’s approach to dealing with the increase in migrants, accusing them of enabling individuals to secure asylum appointments but failing to follow through once they are in the country.
A border deal supported by Biden has not received backing from Congress. In his State of the Union address, Biden voiced his frustration over the package, which aimed to increase the number of border patrol agents and immigration judges in order to expedite the asylum process.
According to Pompeo, who was part of the Trump administration, migrants are going beyond just seeking entry into the United States; they are also trying to exert influence on U.S. elections.
In an interview with radio talk show host John Catsimatidis on WABC 770 AM’s “Cats Roundtable,” Pompeo expressed his concern about the current situation, describing it as a classic case of letting the inmates run the asylum. He emphasized the potential danger this poses to our country.

The New York City law has been criticized as “deeply unconstitutional” by some, who argue that it goes against American traditions and the sense of pride that migrants feel when they successfully navigate the path to citizenship and earn the right to vote.
According to Pompeo, the Democratic Party’s decision to allow the situation at the border to unfold is driven by their desire for long-term power and control. He suggests that while there may be other reasons such as humanitarian concerns, the only logical explanation is that they believe this strategy will give them an advantage in shaping the future of the country.
According to Pompeo, the main concern regarding the border is the lack of knowledge about the identity of the thousands of people entering the country. He expressed his belief that the United States may experience another event similar to the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks or Hamas’s attack on Israel on October 7.
“We are encouraging individuals with malicious intent to exploit our vulnerable southern border and transport their most dangerous elements into our country. They are bringing in copious amounts of drugs, an array of weapons, and fueling a surge in criminal activity,” he asserted.
