During a rally in Ohio last month, Trump faced criticism for using the term “Stop Biden’s Border Bloodbath”. However, he clarified that his intention was to highlight potential negative consequences for the American auto industry due to U.S. trade practices.
During an early evening rally in Green Bay, Wisconsin, another key Midwest state that could play a decisive role in the 2024 presidential election, Trump reiterated his “bloodbath” remarks.
In his critique of Biden’s approach to the southern border, Trump paid homage to Ruby Garcia, a resident of Michigan who tragically lost her life last month. The individual responsible for her untimely death was in the United States unlawfully.
Surrounded by local law enforcement officers who have endorsed his candidacy, Trump declared in his speech, “We will ensure that justice is served for Ruby.”
During his campaign trail, Trump has also mentioned Laken Riley, a Georgia nursing student who tragically lost her life earlier this year. The individual responsible for her death was revealed to be an undocumented immigrant.
Democrats, including members of the Biden campaign team, have criticized Trump for exploiting a personal tragedy for political gain. They have also pointed out that Trump took personal action to prevent the passage of bipartisan border legislation in Congress.
According to Ammar Moussa, the rapid response director of the Biden campaign, Donald Trump has not only attempted to overturn a previous election but has also issued threats of violence in the event of losing the upcoming November election.
