Marjorie Taylor Greene Says NYC earthquake is a God message for Americans to ‘repent’

Republican Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene believes that the recent earthquake in New York City serves as a warning for the nation to repent.

According to Greene, an avowed Christian nationalist, the earthquake served as a divine message to the American people.

In a recent post on X, she expressed her belief that God is sending strong signs to America, urging the nation to repent. She cites earthquakes and eclipses as just a few examples of these signs, with more to come. She fervently prays that the country will heed these messages.

On April 8, some regions in the country will witness a complete solar eclipse. It is important to note that this celestial event is unrelated to the recent earthquake.

Speaker of the House Mike Johnson may introduce long-awaited legislation to aid Ukraine when the House returns from a weeks-long recess the following day.

Greene filed a “motion to vacate” against Johnson in March, threatening to remove him from leadership if he funds Ukraine’s battle with Russia. Her Republican colleagues don’t appear to be overly supportive of her bid, especially given how tough it was to settle on Johnson in late 2023.

After devoting a significant portion of 2023 attempting to align herself more with mainstream Republican views, it seems that Greene has reverted back to her previous behavior.
