Moskowitz responds to Trump’s comments on Jewish Democrats

Rep. Jared Moskowitz (D-Fla.) responded strongly to former President Trump’s recent comments regarding Jewish Democrats on Wednesday.

Trump made a controversial statement when he expressed his belief that any Jewish person who chooses to vote for Democrats or President Biden should seriously consider their decision. He shared this opinion with reporters shortly after arriving in Georgia for a fundraiser.

Moskowitz disagreed with the comment and brought up Trump’s 2022 meeting with Ye (formerly Kanye West) and white supremacist Nick Fuentes, both of whom have faced backlash for their antisemitic language.

In response to the remarks, Moskowitz took to social media platform X and reassured everyone by saying, “I had my head examined. All is well.” He expressed his gratitude for the President’s concern and even made a light-hearted comment, asking when Trump will be having dinner with Kayne and Nick Fuentes again.

On Wednesday, Trump once again asserted that Biden has forsaken Israel in its battle against the militant group Hamas in Gaza.

“Biden has completely lost control of the Israel situation. He has abandoned Israel; he has completely abandoned Israel,” lamented the former president. “And frankly, he lacks intelligence. He seems completely unaware of his surroundings and who is standing by him.”

The Biden administration strongly condemned his remarks, with White House spokesperson Andrew Bates stating that there is absolutely no excuse for disseminating harmful and untrue stereotypes that pose a threat to our fellow citizens.
