Caitlyn Jenner Posted Some Harsh Words On Social Media After O.j. Simpson Death On Thursday.
Shortly after news of Simpson’s death at 76 broke, Jenner posted on X/Twitter, expressing her sentiments with the words, “Good Riddance #OJSimpson.”
Kris Jenner, who is currently married to Robert Kardashian’s ex-wife and Simpson’s lawyer, previously married Caitlyn Jenner. Kardashian and Kris Jenner had four children together: Kourtney Kardashian, Kim Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian, and Rob Kardashian. Caitlyn and Kris Jenner have two children together: Kendall Jenner and Kylie Jenner.
During their time at USC, Kardashian and Simpson became close friends. Simpson was the best man at Kardashian and Kris Jenner’s wedding. Later, Kardashian was Simpson’s lawyer when he was on trial for murder in the deaths of his ex-wife and her friend. Simpson stayed at Kardashian’s house to avoid the media. Officials observed the lawyer carrying a bag they suspected contained evidence. Officials later found Simpson not guilty of the crimes.
The bodies of Simpson’s ex-wife, Nicole Brown Simpson, and her friend, Ronald Goldman, were found outside of her Brentwood home on June 12, 1994. Simpson’s plea of not guilty to a domestic violence charge against Nicole Brown Simpson during their marriage linked him to the killings. He was charged with the murders. He didn’t turn himself in, so when he tried to run away in his white Ford Bronco, the cops gave chase at a slow speed; it became a media spectacle. A total of 95 million people watched the chase on TV on June 17.
Simpson’s trial turned into a media show after the jury found him not guilty of killing two people. But in 1997, Goldman’s family sued Simpson in civil court for wrongful death and battery against Goldman and Nicole Brown Simpson. All three charges found Simpson guilty. The court ordered Simpson to pay $33.5 million for the harm he caused.
