A judge from Harris County district court has been arrested in Galveston on charges related to family violence, according to reports.
Frank Aguilar, a judge from the 228th District Court in Harris County, was taken into custody in the early hours of Sunday morning. He faces charges of assault causing bodily injury in a case involving family violence.
According to reports, the incident occurred on Teichman Road in the 9600 block. Aguilar has been released from jail after posting a $1,500 bond.
