A Student At The University Of Colorado Is In Custody For A Double Murder

Aiexpress – Officials have confirmed that a student has been arrested in connection with a double homicide at the University of Colorado – Colorado Springs on Monday.

According to a spokesperson from the University of Colorado – Colorado Springs, Jordan, hailing from Detroit, is currently a student at the university.

Nicholas Jordan, 25, is charged with two counts of first-degree murder in the deaths of the two victims, who were found shot in a dorm room on Friday, according to Colorado Springs police. Jordan was discovered in a vehicle early Monday morning and arrested without incident in Colorado Springs, according to authorities.

According to a statement by the police, the shootings seemed to be a targeted incident involving individuals who were familiar with each other, rather than a random attack on the school or other students.

The Colorado Springs Police Department has identified the victims as Celie Rain Montgomery, 26, from Pueblo, Colorado, and Samuel Knopp, 24, from Parker, Colorado.

According to the police, Knopp was a student registered at the school, whereas Montgomery was not currently enrolled.
