Amber Alert Canceled For 4-year-old Bremerton Boy Abducted From His Bed

The Kitsap County Sheriff’s Office issued an Amber Alert on Sunday morning for a young boy who was taken by his biological mother from Bremerton.

The boy was found safe and the alert was canceled by the sheriff’s office at 11:57 a.m. on Sunday.

The sheriff’s office was able to locate and apprehend the suspect, Shannon Michelle Isbell, thanks to valuable information provided by a deputy. As a result, her vehicle was intercepted and stopped.

The woman attempted to escape, but she was apprehended and placed under arrest.

Isbell faced multiple charges including second-degree kidnapping/domestic violence, resisting arrest, violation of a protection order, and first-degree burglary/domestic violence. He was then taken into custody and booked into the Kitsap County Jail.

The Amber Alert for the 4-year-old was issued around 10 a.m. on Sunday.

Authorities reported that Isbell was observed removing the boy from his bed around midnight on Sunday morning.

The sheriff’s office initially reported that she was driving a blue 2005 Kia Spectra sedan. However, at 11:36 a.m., they issued an update stating that she could be driving a different vehicle, specifically a 2006 silver Ford Escape.

According to the alert, Isbell has been making threats to harm herself and the boy.
