Aiexpress – A woman from Florida has gone missing in Madrid under suspicious circumstances, with her ongoing divorce adding even more concern to the situation.
According to her brother, Ana Maria Knezevich Henao, a 40-year-old Colombian native, “disappeared” on or around February 2 after she failed to meet a friend as scheduled, as stated by officials in Spain.
According to USA Today, it has been reported that a series of WhatsApp text messages were sent to a friend around the time she was believed to have disappeared. These messages indicated that she had met someone.
“I just met someone amazing! He owns a summer house about 2 hours away from Madrid. We’re heading there now, and I’ll be spending a few days there. The signal is a bit weak, but I’ll give you a call when I return,” read a message from Knezevich Henao, as shared by her friend, Sanna Rameau.
Security cameras at the entrance and elevator of the luxurious Salamanca apartment building, where Knezevich Henao resided, were vandalized with spray paint, according to officials.
“The cameras being spray-painted on the building is concerning and makes us suspect foul play. It’s definitely not a normal occurrence,” expressed Felipe Henao, brother of the victim, in an interview with NewsNation.
According to Felipe Henao, the sister of David Knezevich, who is the CEO of Florida-based EOX Technology Solutions, and her husband were going through a divorce. David had traveled back to his native Serbia in January.
