On the early morning of Wednesday, April 10, numerous residents in the region were startled as they witnessed a stunning bright green fireball streaking across the sky.
Linda Price-Heine said she received a text from her neighbor, Joan Piney, in Wall Township this morning instructing her to check her camera. They both employ cameras to monitor wildlife.
Multiple reports were received by the American Meteor Society website during the early hours of the morning, specifically between 3:40 a.m. and 4:15 a.m. The majority of these reports originated from Pennsylvania, with a few coming from New Jersey.
Reports from various cities in Pennsylvania, including Yardley, Pottstown, Lititz, Doylestown, Allentown, Mount Joy, Stroudsburg, Kennett Square, Columbia, and New Tripoli, have been received.
Residents in several towns in New Jersey, including Barnegat, Watchung, Linden, Atlantic City, Perth Amboy, Wallington, Manasquan, Wall Township, Wayne, Long Beach, and Hackettstown, were fortunate enough to witness a spectacular fireball streaking across the sky.
