Actress and stuntwoman Carrie Bernans found herself in a harrowing situation when she was critically injured in an alleged hit and run incident in New York City. The incident took place at 1:30 AM on Monday, leaving Bernans shaken and injured.

In a Monday update, it has been revealed that Universal Studios has taken the lead in the 2023 U.S. Box Office, surpassing $9 billion in revenue. The studio’s success can be attributed to the release of “Wonka,” which topped the New Year’s weekend with an impressive $30 million in box office sales. This achievement marks a significant milestone for Universal, solidifying its position as a powerhouse in the film industry.

Cynthia Bernans, a renowned artist known for her work on films like “The Color Purple” (2023) and Marvel’s “Black Panther” and “Avengers Infinity War/End Game,” was among the nine people who were injured in a recent incident. According to her publicist, she was hit by a driver who crashed into an outdoor dining shed at Chirp, a Peruvian restaurant in midtown Manhattan. The driver then reversed and collided with another car before being apprehended by officers.

Bernans, who recently became a mother, was fortunate that her newborn son was not present during the incident. Instead, he was safely staying in a hotel with her family. Currently, Bernans is undergoing surgery and is in stable condition. The details of this traumatic event were shared by her mother on Instagram, revealing the extent of Bernans’ injuries. She is currently in a difficult situation but receiving medical care.

“She is still experiencing a great deal of pain and is unable to answer phone calls at the moment… She is in immense pain, but she is healing. “This setback has not deterred her belief that something extraordinary is still unfolding by the hands of God. Despite the injuries sustained in the hit-and-run collision in NYC, she remains hopeful and filled with faith as she embarks on a new chapter.
