“If it takes over New York, there is no hope for the rest of the world,” Hudson said with a hint of concern. “Deep down, New York remains the vibrant city it has always been. It proudly holds the title of the greatest city on the planet, or at least that’s what we often reassure ourselves.”
Walter, the Ghostbusters’ longstanding adversary from the Environmental Protection Agency, makes a comeback in the latest installment. This time, he assumes the role of the mayor and continues to hold a grudge against the heroes. He remains critical of their methods, which have occasionally resulted in the destruction of buildings and property.
Hudson expressed his delight in witnessing the enduring sharpness and humor of the veteran Ghostbusters cast members, many of whom are now in their 70s.
“It felt like an eternity,” he exclaimed, reflecting on the long-awaited release of the movie. “I had almost lost hope that it would ever come to fruition.”
The trio, along with Potts, takes the spotlight once again in the captivating tale of “Frozen Empire”.

“It’s been a joy to continue the story, and I’m truly amazed, just like everyone else, that even after all these years, the fans have embraced it and passed it down to their families, sharing it with their children and grandchildren,” he expressed. “I had a blast working on it, and I hope the fans will adore it as much as I do.”
According to Hudson, he is eager for the franchise to persist, as there is an abundance of ghost stories in the world.
“I’m really hopeful that this project will be successful and open up opportunities for us to explore other stories,” he expressed. “It would be amazing to see it expand into different territories and communities. This could potentially be the beginning of something even greater. However, if that’s not the case, I’m still grateful to have played a role in creating what we currently have.”
Hudson thoroughly enjoyed working on “Afterlife” and “Frozen Empire,” but he couldn’t help but feel the absence of Ramis, who had been a grounding presence in the previous two films. Ramis passed away in 2014 at the age of 69.
“When I think of Ghostbusters, Harold’s presence immediately comes to mind. His impact can be felt in every aspect,” Hudson expressed.
According to him, Harold had a unique ability to bring people together. He described Harold as a stabilizing force during chaotic times when it felt like everyone was on the verge of falling apart. To him, Harold was a reliable and rational voice of wisdom.
According to Hudson, the new cast members are absolutely “amazing.” She went on to describe Nanjiani as “adorable and funny,” expressing her admiration for his talent. Additionally, Hudson revealed that she has been a longtime fan of Rudd, making her excitement for their collaboration even greater.
Hudson expressed admiration for the humble and grounded nature of the individual, highlighting their exceptional skills. He also mentioned the positive impact of their contribution in expanding the Ghostbusters franchise.

“Ghostbusters transcends generations, appealing to both young children and older individuals alike. However, The Crow holds a special place for a specific stage in life when people come across it and connect with the film,” Hudson explained, specifically addressing teenagers and young adults.
“I take great pride in the movie, but it’s also a constant reminder that Brandon lost his life during its production,” he expressed. “It’s difficult for me to separate the film from the memory of him and his immense talent, which held so much potential. It’s a complex mix of emotions that I experience.”
Hudson revealed that he has been approached to reprise his role in other versions of the film. He made it clear that he doesn’t hold any ill will towards other interpretations, but he personally hasn’t felt the desire to revisit that particular world.
