Aiexpress – According to MSN News, District Attorney Fani Willis attended church on Saturday, Feb. 17, 2024, to accept an award. During the event, she took the opportunity to share with her supporters the source of her calmness amidst the challenges she has been facing.
Willis is not only facing the task of prosecuting Donald Trump for his alleged interference in the 2020 election, but she is also confronted with accusations of having had an inappropriate relationship with Nathan Wade, a fellow Trump prosecutor, at some point in the past.
During her sermon, Willis shared that her supporters have been sending her a particular verse from the Old Testament to uplift her spirits: “No weapon formed against you shall prosper.”
In her speech, Willis expressed her thoughts by stating:
They did not say the weapons would not form, and that’s the part I didn’t hear until recently. Just because they won’t prosper, it doesn’t mean that they won’t form. Even if you feel like everything you are doing in your life is the right thing, and you’re making mistakes all along the way, but you’re trying. You should not think that those weapons will not form.
During the service, she was also honored with a Black History Achievement award.
