Joe Biden Wins Northern Mariana Islands Democratic Primary

President Biden has emerged as the victorious candidate in the Democratic primary held in the Northern Mariana Islands, as projected by Decision Desk HQ.

With each passing day, the current frontrunner is steadily approaching the required number of delegates to solidify the Democratic nomination. This significant progress was made possible by his remarkable performance in the states that held nominating contests on Super Tuesday last week. As a result, he is now set for a highly anticipated rematch with former President Trump, who is also making considerable strides towards securing the GOP nomination.

Both candidates are likely to secure their respective party nominations by Tuesday night, as they are expected to win enough delegates.

According to a tracker from Decision Desk HQ/The Hill, the Democratic race in the Northern Mariana Islands offers six delegates for candidates to compete for.

In American Samoa, a U.S. territory, Joe Biden experienced his only defeat last week. Jason Palmer, an entrepreneur with a long-shot bid, emerged as the winner of the Democratic race in that region. Despite this setback, NPR reported that Palmer had also aimed to secure another unexpected victory in the Northern Mariana Islands against the Democratic front-runner. However, his hopes were dashed as he fell short on Tuesday.
