John Oliver Ridicules Trump’s Attempt To Sell Products To Fund Legal Battles

In a recent episode of his show, John Oliver wasted no time in calling out Donald Trump for his recent series of “cash grabs.”

During the recent episode of “Last Week Tonight,” Oliver highlighted the challenges that Trump has been facing in the courts. He pointed out that Trump has encountered setbacks, including the defamation judgment in the E. Jean Carroll case and the fraud case in New York State. These legal battles have put him at risk of owing more than half a billion dollars. However, the financial consequences go beyond this staggering amount.

According to a report from the New York Times, it seems that since leaving office, he has spent over $100 million on legal bills alone. This amounts to an average of more than $90,000 per day. Shockingly, none of this money came from his own pocket. During his time out of office, he has relied heavily on donations from his supporters to cover these expenses. In fact, he has repeatedly used his legal troubles as a reason to appeal for financial contributions. In a recent plea to his MAGA supporters, he urged them to contribute whatever they could, stating, “We’re fighting. We’re winning. You see what’s going on. So whatever you can do to help financially would be fantastic, because we have to beat it if it’s $5 or $10 or $100, whatever you can do.”

Oliver humorously commented on the man who incessantly boasts about being one of the wealthiest individuals on the planet, yet resorts to soliciting money from strangers in a hostage video that appears to have been recorded in a house haunted by the most tasteless ghosts imaginable.

Oliver mentioned a number of new products that Trump has been promoting, including a bible, gold sneakers, cologne, a mini-speaker, and gold wireless earbuds. In a humorous tone, Oliver remarked, “You know how it’s always difficult to distinguish your Airpods from your friends’ because the cases all look the same? Well, with these, you’ll instantly lose all your friends – problem solved.”
