Michael Jackson’s Estate Claims Katherine Has Received More Than $55 Million Since His Passing

Michael Jackson’s mother has accumulated a substantial fortune since her son’s passing, amounting to tens of millions. This is the reason why she is capable of financing her own legal representation, according to MJ’s estate.

The estate’s representative has confirmed to TMZ that they have submitted legal documents as part of their ongoing disagreement with Katherine Jackson regarding the attorney’s fees. Katherine is attempting to get the estate to cover the fees for a deal that the estate itself negotiated, a matter she is currently appealing.

The documents obtained by TMZ reveal astonishing financial information that, if proven to be accurate, is truly mind-blowing.

The estate alleges in the filing that Katherine has received a substantial amount of cash and other benefits since Michael’s death in 2009. According to the executors of the estate, the total sum exceeds $55 million over a span of nearly 15 years.

According to the estate, a significant portion of that money is in the form of a monthly allowance that Katherine receives from MJ’s estate, amounting to over $160,000 per month.

According to the estate, the $55 million total includes $33 million in cash payments, along with other allowances.

In addition, the documents state that the estate ensures Katherine’s well-being. They have reportedly spent over $15 million on purchasing and enhancing her luxurious home, as well as covering her transportation and providing other privileges. These include a private gardener, chef, and security personnel.

The estate executors are presenting this information to support their claim that Katherine has the financial means to pay for her own attorney’s fees. This comes as she continues to pursue her appeal in order to challenge a significant business agreement that the estate has entered into. It’s worth noting that this legal battle was initially being fought by Katherine and Michael’s son, Blanket, but the circumstances have recently changed.

It is not clear what the exact details of the deal are, but it seems to be connected to the significant agreement made by the estate to sell half of Michael Jackson’s music catalog to Sony for a substantial amount.

MICHAEL JACKSON THROUGH THE YEARS

We were the first to report that Blanket recently filed legal documents stating his belief that Katherine should be responsible for her own attorney’s fees for the appeal, rather than the estate having to cover the costs.

Katherine had the support of Blanket throughout the legal proceedings, but unfortunately, the judge’s ruling went against them. In light of this decision, they determined that pursuing an appeal would not be a viable option.

Blanket has expressed his desire to withdraw from the fight and has made it clear that Katherine will have to handle the appeal on her own.
