New Biden campaign ad seeks support from Haley voters: ‘Come join us’

President Biden’s reelection campaign unveiled a new advertisement on Friday targeting Republican Nikki Haley’s supporters. The ad aims to win over these supporters while also criticizing former President Trump for alienating them.

The 30-second ad, which was first reported by The Washington Post, showcases the multiple instances in which Trump has openly criticized Haley, going as far as referring to her as a “birdbrain” and questioning her presidential qualities.

“If you cast your vote in favor of Nikki Haley, Donald Trump is not seeking your support,” states the advertisement.

According to a January post on Truth Social, Trump stated that Haley supporters “will be permanently barred from the MAGA camp.”

The advertisement also features footage of Trump expressing uncertainty about the necessity of gaining support from Haley voters. He confidently asserts that he does not require additional votes to secure victory in the upcoming presidential election.

“Join us and help save America,” urges the advertisement.

The ad, which will run for three weeks in battleground states, is being funded with over $1 million from the campaign, as reported by the Post. This is just a portion of the $30 million ad buy that the campaign had announced following the president’s State of the Union address. The aim is to target the seven crucial battleground states for Biden’s reelection bid.

Earlier this week, the campaign issued a statement asserting that Trump does not desire the support of Haley voters. They further claimed that Trump has made it abundantly clear that individuals who do not align with the “MAGA disciple” ideology are not welcome in his camp.

In a statement on March 6, Joe Biden emphasized that he welcomes Nikki Haley’s supporters, making it clear that there is a place for them in his campaign. Donald Trump, on the other hand, expressed his disinterest in having Haley’s supporters. Biden wants to ensure that his campaign is inclusive and open to people from all political backgrounds.
