Aiexpress – An early morning shooting at a Waffle House in Indianapolis has resulted in the death of one person and left five others wounded, with one in critical condition, according to police.
According to authorities, officers responded to a report of a shooting at 12:40 a.m. local time and discovered five apparent gunshot victims. All were sent to hospitals. One of them, a lady, was critically ill and died in the hospital. The remaining three males and a lady were in stable condition. Then a man arrived at the hospital, in critical condition.
Police said several persons remained on the site and were assisting with detectives. Initially, it appeared like a conflict between two groups had escalated to shooting.
Police said it was unclear whether any of the victims had also discharged firearms.
As the investigation continued, the police scrutinized the surveillance video from the restaurant. Detectives carefully analyzed the footage in search of any potential leads or evidence.
