Tennessee Soccer Coach Indicted For Allegedly Drugging And Raping Boys

A grand jury has indicted a former Tennessee soccer coach on 31 sex-related offenses, including allegedly drugging and raping teenagers on his squad.

According to the indictment, several of the victims were declared “mentally incapacitated” and “physically helpless” in what Franklin Police described as one of the most “disturbing and egregious” child sex abuse instances.

Camilo Hurtado Campos, who was arrested in Franklin last summer, faces 17 counts of rape, six counts of aggravated sexual exploitation of a minor, four counts of sexual exploitation of a minor, possession of more than 50 images or videos of minors, and possession of marijuana and cocaine, according to the Williamson County grand jury’s March 6 indictment.

“I think that as time goes on and we continue to scour through evidence, we’re going to uncover even more horrific things,” Lt. Charles Warner of the Franklin Police Department told News 2.

According to Warner, Campos reportedly gave his victims strong medicines that put them in a “dangerously comatose state.”

The people who are reviewing these videos and images have told me that these kids resemble rag dolls, according to Warner. “They’re comatose and completely lethargic.”

According to authorities, one victim claimed he had no recall of the assault.

According to the Franklin Police Department, the videos and photographs that Campos reportedly captured on his phone showing him raping unconscious youngsters aged 9 to 17 years old were discovered after he abandoned his phone at a neighborhood restaurant.

According to investigators, Campos spent time at neighborhood school playgrounds recruiting guys for his team. After gaining their trust, investigators said the 63-year-old coach invited them to his house, where he drugged and assaulted them.
