Texans Acquire Stefon Diggs From Bills In Exchange For 2025 Second-round Pick

The Houston Texans have acquired star wide receiver Stefon Diggs from the Buffalo Bills, according to an announcement made by both teams on Wednesday.

The Minnesota Vikings will be giving up a 2025 second-round pick to the Buffalo Bills in exchange for Stefon Diggs. In addition to the draft pick, the Vikings will also be sending a 2024 sixth-round pick and a 2025 fifth-round pick to the Bills.

In the 2020 season, Diggs, a highly accomplished player with four Pro Bowl appearances, showcased his exceptional skills by recording an impressive 107 receptions. This remarkable feat placed him seventh in the entire NFL. In addition, he accumulated a total of 1,183 yards and scored eight touchdowns, solidifying his status as a top performer in the league.

The news was first reported by ESPN.

The addition of the 30-year-old player is anticipated to greatly enhance the already formidable offense in Houston. With the Texans ranking 12th in yards per game (342.4) and seventh in passing yards per game (245.5), credit largely goes to NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year, C.J. Stroud.
