The hip-hop community was devastated by the news of DJ Mister Cee’s passing on April 10. Recently, his family disclosed the cause of death for the legendary hip-hop icon.

According to a report by the Medical Examiner of New York City, DJ Mister Cee passed away due to complications from diabetes, specifically coronary artery and kidney disease.
