The passing of Officer Jonathan Diller and the need for NY progressives to take action

A progressive city that has abandoned law enforcement and allowed crime to run rampant is now mourning the loss of an NYPD officer.

Both Rivera and Jones had a significant reputation among the police in the crime-infested Queens neighborhood. They had a combined total of 35 arrests – 21 for Rivera and 14 for Jones. Jones, in particular, had a criminal record that involved charges of assault and attempted murder.

According to his brother-in-law, he was described as “a good man and a great father.”

Who else should be held responsible for the tragic death of the young officer? It is the lawmakers of New York, both at the state and city levels, who have created an atmosphere of crime and chaos, all the while showing contempt for the police force.

Are they experiencing any sense of shame?

Every day, brave police officers put their lives on the line to safeguard the people of New York City.

Anti-cop activists repay their service with disdain, while progressive politicians vilify them.

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Public Advocate Jumaane Williams have been advocating for defunding the police, thereby supporting a movement that portrays cops as adversaries. Williams has played a significant role in establishing anti-NYPD city laws.

He leaves behind a wife who is grieving the loss of her husband and a 1-year-old son who will have to grow up without his father.
