According to the police, a shooting occurred at a party in Arkansas early on Sunday, resulting in three fatalities and multiple injuries.
The Jonesboro Police Department has confirmed that the shooter, whose identity has not been disclosed, was one of the individuals who tragically lost their lives. Additionally, a man and a woman, who were known acquaintances of the shooter, also sadly lost their lives in this incident.
The cause of the private party shooting on Burke Avenue in Jonesboro has not been disclosed by the police.
Five people were hurt in the shooting, according to officials. According to the police, three of the wounded victims had no known link to the suspect, but one injured woman did. Authorities did not say if the fifth injured person knew the perpetrator. Officials did not say how serious the victims’ injuries were.
The victims of the Jonesboro incident have not been publicly identified by the Jonesboro Police Department.
Police officers arrived at the scene of the shooting just before 5 a.m. Upon their arrival, authorities promptly closed off the surrounding area and began interviewing witnesses. Based on their initial assessment, the police confirmed that there was no ongoing danger to the community.
