1 Dead And 6 Others Shot In Orlando Shooting: Police

Aiexpress  –  According to police, a dispute over the return of a vehicle turned deadly in Orlando, Florida, resulting in one fatality and six people being injured from gunshots. The disagreement escalated into an exchange of gunfire between two groups involved.

According to Orlando Police, the hospital has received the six injured victims who are now in stable condition and are expected to survive.

The person who died has been identified by the police as James Jerry Dawn William III, aged 21.

According to Orlando Police, the incident started at approximately 3 p.m. on the day of the shooting with a confrontation between two groups in the same location. Officers were called in because of reports of an alleged assault involving weapons.

When the officers arrived at the scene, they were informed that a disagreement had taken place due to a vehicle not being returned by the agreed-upon date. One of the parties involved expressed their intention to press charges for the alleged assault. However, the suspect could not be found, as stated by the police.

According to the police, they issued a trespass warning for one of the individuals involved in the disagreement. They also suspect that one of the parties was responsible for the shooting that took place at 11 p.m. that night.

Officers from the Orlando Police Department responded to the vicinity of Iron Wedge Drive and South Lake Orlando on Wednesday night after receiving reports of several rounds fired and discovering multiple victims, one of whom was dead.

The investigation is still ongoing, as the police continue to sort out the role of those injured in the shooting and identify the suspects.
