Valeria Ryan recently celebrated her 101st birthday on Saturday, as reported by First Coast News. To mark this special occasion, she was treated to a remarkable birthday parade attended by over 200 people.

Ryan, with a smile, revealed his secret to a long life, stating, “Drink all the booze you can drink.”

Ryan’s mischievous guidance may hide the dedication and effort she has shown in her life.

At the age of 19, she enlisted in the Navy and quickly climbed the ranks, becoming an expert in teaching her fellow service members how to successfully land munitions.

According to Eileen Alexon, her mother’s time in the Navy held great significance and was one of the most memorable experiences of her life.

According to Alexon, the woman not only taught the men how to land the bombs, but she also found the love of her life during her time in the service.

Ryan had six other children in addition to Alexon. When she reached the age of 48, she decided to enroll in nursing school.

According to Alexon, his mother’s life on the farm was challenging as she raised multiple children. However, this difficult upbringing instilled in her a strong desire to make a positive impact and give back to others.

Alexon added that the woman had a deep understanding of the significance of healthcare and the importance of community support in times of need.

Ryan, who currently resides in a nursing home for veterans in St. Augustine, Florida, continues to live life to the fullest and make the most of every day.

“I’m actually quite skilled at dancing,” she proudly declared. “It’s something I do frequently and with great passion.”
