Aiexpress – The Summit driver was driving a Toyota west on the highway’s Interchange 16W exit when he collided into the toll plaza concrete abutment and overturned around 3:45 a.m. Sgt. Charles Marchan of the New Jersey State Police said the incident occurred on Sunday, January 21, in East Rutherford.
Marchan stated the incident occurred near milepost 112.7 when the car burst into flames.
The driver perished as a result of the incident, which is still being investigated.
